Second Life Business Week coverIf you dismissed my post in March and cocktail party ramblings about business opportunities in online virtual worlds such as Second Life, maybe this will finally earn your attention — Second Life has made the May 2006 cover of Business Week magazine. (Thanks to friend John Murphy for pointing this out.)

Read the Business Week article, and check out a podcast interview with Business Week journalist Rob Hof. So what is your Second Life business plan?

My girlfriend is getting into this lately. She’s way more of a webgeek than I am, but I have a TON of ideas. We’ll see what happens.

BTW, I stumbled onto this entry after putting “chicago bicycle company” (remember them? I have a line on one for sale) into google and having the entry about your Paramount pop up on the first page. I still have my 1993 Ibis that I can’t bear to get rid of.

    Hi Rick,

Sorry, just got your comment (several weeks later). SL is crazy, huh? I haven’t visited for over a year. I can only imagine how much it’s changed. Shoot me an email with your identity and I’ll look you up next time I venture into SL.
