I've been using last.fm for about 7 months now, and I LOVE it. I have discovered a few new artists on it, and enjoyed their "more like this" streaming service at work many many days. Also, it's great to contribute to their popularity ratings through the iScrobbler service. Yay for music and the internet!

Mel,

Technorati is a (the) search engine for blogs. A Technorati tag is basically a keyword you can assign to your content so people who search on that keyword can find your blog.

Social bookmarking refers to a group of websites that allow people to post and share bookmarks online. The icons above allow the users of these sites to easily bookmark stories on my blog. If you are still using the old bookmark feature in your browser, it's high time to start using Del.icio.us (the first icon in the row). More about Del.icio.us here.
