Is been only a day since Apple released OS X Leopard and already hackers have found a way to install Leopard on PC. Not for the novice PC user and most certainly illegal, the hack makes use of a modified install CD. Hackers say the install is still experimental and things like sound, video settings, and wireless will most likely not work until new drivers and system workarounds can be developed. (At the current rate, I predict this will be a matter of days.) Details at DailyApps.net.

You see, the exact SECOND Winblows releases a new OS though, Mac will have an update out for Bootcamp to run Winblows legally, not that any true die hard Mac user would use a Winblows as it is.
The osx86 project got Leopard on PCs before it was released by using developer DVDs. Getting Windows on a Mac computer requires the EFI mac to emulate a PC’s BIOS. Getting Mac on PC requires the PC to emulate EFI (using PCEFI). Similar in spirit.

I love Apple’s hardware, PC’s, Laptops, etc…
but I never really liked OSX that much, either way, it seems I can put Leopard on my PC now! That’s right. ILLEGALLY. I can do that. I don’t care if it’s wrong. Who will stop me?
