Scott Beale posted this on Laughing Squid back in September and it’s been stuck in my head ever since — Devo covers “Satisfaction” by the Rolling Stones on Saturday Night Live (1978). Full credit to Scott for the find. ;)

    I love satisfaction. It seems like everyone wants it, and nobody can get it. Poor Paul Westerberg had the same troubles as Mick and co…

    I’m dating myself, but I was watching that night in 1978.

    I still think Devo is cool. And they may have been right about devolution. :-)

    Bummer that YouTube had to pull the video. I expect it and others will reappear in some monetized form — embedded links to useless information, shirt whiteners, and the same cigarettes the head of NBC smokes. ;)
